Senior Audit Associate
May 19, 2026CLA Malta offers great career opportunities for both ACCA and University graduates, as well as for experienced professionals within our Audit section. We are currently growing our Audit team and we are on the look out for a Senior Associate to join our existent group of auditors. Job Responsibilities: Leading client audit engagements which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits:- Applying generally accepted accounting principles and reporting rules, where applicable; and financial statement presentation,
- Acquire working knowledge of the client’s business,
- Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement.
- Fully ACCA qualified (or equivalent) coupled with a minimum of 3 years previous working experience within an Audit team,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs. An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset,
- Strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics
- Efficient coupled with a good eye for detail
- Risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information
- Self motivated, proactive with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Marketing Associate
May 5, 2026We are looking for a Marketing Associate to support our growing marketing team with day-to-day creative and digital marketing work. This role is ideal for someone who is at the beginning of their marketing career, currently studying, recently graduated, or looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional marketing environment. The selected candidate will support the marketing team with:- Creating simple and engaging graphic designs for social media, newsletters, presentations, internal communications, and marketing campaigns.
- Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials for different departments and client-related projects.
- Supporting the team with social media content creation and scheduling.
- Helping with basic website updates, blog uploads, and digital content coordination.
- Assisting in the creation and editing of short videos, reels, and other digital content.
- Supporting internal events, campaigns, newsletters, and other marketing initiatives.
- Working closely with the marketing team on ad hoc creative and administrative tasks.
- A good eye for design and visual communication.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar design platforms.
- Good written communication skills in English.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within deadlines and take feedback constructively.
- Video editing experience.
- Experience creating reels, short-form videos, or social media content.
- Knowledge of tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva video, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Lawyer
May 5, 2026We are currently growing our Legal & Corporate Section and are on the lookout for a Lawyer to join our existing team. The responsibilities shall include but shall not be limited to:- Assisting with ongoing legal work on corporate, immigration, contractual, employment, data protection, compliance, shipping and regulatory matters;
- Drafting legal and corporate documents;
- Assisting with immigration matters, including the preparation of application forms;
- Reviewing and maintaining the Firm’s policies;
- Supporting ongoing client requests which fall within the Legal Team’s expertise;
- Monitoring updates within various legal fields;
- Liaising with competent authorities on behalf of clients as may be required;
- Conducting legal research and providing detailed analysis of cases and jurisprudence;
- Taking command of various projects as they may arise;
- Attending meetings with clients and providing support to the Legal team;
- Assisting with any administrative work which may be required.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
- Strong working knowledge of legislation and regulation;
- Able to work on own initiative whilst also be a team player;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Maltese;
- Very organised and able to meet strict deadlines in a timely manner.

Associate - Tax
April 23, 2026CLA Malta is seeking to recruit an Associate - Tax Advisor to join its dynamic team. The successful applicant will join the firm’s tax section and will be providing tax services to the firm’s local and international client base. Responsibilities- Assisting clients in the areas of direct taxes;
- Preparation of written Tax opinions as may be required by the clients;
- Assistance in the Tax Compliance work such as Income Tax Returns and Claims for Refund amongst others;
- Liaising with auditors on tax matters;
- Advising and assisting clients on their fiscal obligations and compliance within the prescribed time limits;
- Advising and assisting clients on the most tax-efficient way of structuring their corporate and tax affairs;
- Assisting private clients with their fiscal obligations in terms of the various Tax Residency Schemes applicable at the time;
- Seeing to the needs and wishes of clients and prospective clients in the best possible manner and efficiently.
- ACCA qualification or equivalent;
- At least one/two years relevant experience;
- Knowledge and understanding of local and international tax;
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Excellent communication and written skills in English and Maltese, whilst knowledge of the Italian language is considered an asset.
