Front Office Administrator
CLA Malta is seeking an Administrator with excellent organisational and interpersonal abilities to work within the Front Office team and assist with general Administration and back-office duties. Job Responsibilities:- Acting as a first point of contact at the office, greeting and welcoming visitors.
- Handling phone calls and correspondence.
- Supporting all department teams with any technical related administrative duties.
- General office administration and retention of appropriate office records.
- Ensure Meeting Rooms and Reception area are kept presentable at all times.
- Responding to emails and preparing documents, including office correspondence in a timely manner.
- Assist senior management with travel arrangements and setting up of meetings.
- Performing other Front Office related duties, including the management of office stock; communications with suppliers and acquiring quotations; overseeing maintenance agreements and reporting any repairs.
- Preparation of documents, primarily related to the Audit department, e.g., Letters of Engagements, Form Fs, Release Letters, Clearance Letter, Extension Letters, etc.
- Handling the submission of online MBR reports.
- Collection & posting of documents.
- Obtaining auditor’s signatures.
- Managing the filing system.
- Assists the Audit & Assurance, and other internal teams, with administration related duties when necessary.
- Experience in an administrative, front office or customer services position, and ideally with working knowledge of document control.
- Educated to O’ level or higher standard.
- Basic knowledge of Accounts or Audit would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English and ideally Maltese; knowledge of Italian would be considered an asset.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other basic IT packages.
- High degree of time management skills ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Meticulous, motivated, efficient, and reliable.
- Ability to follow direction and work within a team/independently as required.
- Works well under pressure.
- Professional in appearance, with a friendly demeanor.

Associate - Advisory
We are currently growing our Advisory Section and we are on the lookout for an Associate to join our existing team. Responsibilities:- Analysis of financial data and reporting on findings;
- Preparation of financial feasibility reports, business plans and other reports as may be needed by the client, which are required for funding or financing;
- Preparation of technical financial reports, including valuations and market assessment.
- Preparing the application for various local and EU funds on behalf of clients, including but not limited to funds administered by local and EU institutions;
- Supporting the provision of internal audit services to a varied client base;
- Assisting in the development and growth of the Advisory section; and
- Attending meetings with clients and providing support to the Advisory team.
- Able to work on own initiative whilst also be a team player;
- Excellent communication skills, especially writing skills in a business-level English;
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel; and
- Very organised and able to meet strict deadlines in a timely manner
- ACCA or University of Malta-qualified; and
- Previous experience in Advisory would be considered an asset.

Senior Audit Associate
CLA Malta offers great career opportunities for both ACCA and University graduates, as well as for experienced professionals within our Audit section. We are currently growing our Audit team and we are on the look out for a Senior Associate to join our existent group of auditors. Job Responsibilities: Leading client audit engagements which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits:- Applying generally accepted accounting principles and reporting rules, where applicable; and financial statement presentation,
- Acquire working knowledge of the client’s business,
- Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement.
- Fully ACCA qualified (or equivalent) coupled with a minimum of 3 years previous working experience within an Audit team,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs. An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset,
- Strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics
- Efficient coupled with a good eye for detail
- Risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information
- Self motivated, proactive with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Associate - Tax
CLA Malta is seeking to recruit an Associate - Tax Advisor to join its dynamic team. The successful applicant will join the firm’s tax section and will be providing tax services to the firm’s local and international client base. Responsibilities- Assisting clients in the areas of direct taxes;
- Preparation of written Tax opinions as may be required by the clients;
- Assistance in the Tax Compliance work such as Income Tax Returns and Claims for Refund amongst others;
- Liaising with auditors on tax matters;
- Advising and assisting clients on their fiscal obligations and compliance within the prescribed time limits;
- Advising and assisting clients on the most tax-efficient way of structuring their corporate and tax affairs;
- Assisting private clients with their fiscal obligations in terms of the various Tax Residency Schemes applicable at the time;
- Seeing to the needs and wishes of clients and prospective clients in the best possible manner and efficiently.
- ACCA qualification or equivalent;
- At least one/two years relevant experience;
- Knowledge and understanding of local and international tax;
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Excellent communication and written skills in English and Maltese, whilst knowledge of the Italian language is considered an asset.
